Bonsai potting soil - 5 Liter

Description

This bonsai soil gives your bonsai the airy structure it needs. The mix drains well while holding just enough moisture for healthy roots. You can use it for both indoor and outdoor bonsai.

What makes it bonsai soil

The blend contains peat moss, turf fractions and clay. Together they create a light mix that roots can breathe in. Water runs through easily, so you avoid soggy soil. At the same time, the soil holds enough moisture between waterings.

One bag of 5 liters is enough to repot several smaller bonsai or one larger tree. You can also use it to top up the soil in a pot you already have.

How to use it

Repot your bonsai when the roots fill the pot or when the soil gets compacted. Remove old soil carefully, trim the roots if needed, and fill the pot with fresh bonsai soil. Press it down lightly and water until it runs out the drainage holes.

You can mix this soil with extra drainage material like lava rock or akadama if you want an even airier blend. It works on its own too.
