Terrarium of the Month: Promotion Terms

These terms apply to the promotion "Terrarium of the Month" on urbanjngl.com. By ticking the box on the entry form you accept them.

1. Organiser

This promotion is organised by Trendhero B.V., trading as urbanjngl, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 91204623 ("we", "us").

2. Who can take part

Participants must be 18 or older and live in the EU, Switzerland or the UK. (If under 18, a parent or guardian must enter on their behalf.)
You must have bought at least one terrarium kit on urbanjngl.com. Purchases through other platforms or marketplaces do not qualify.
Our employees and their immediate family cannot take part.

3. How to enter

Buy a terrarium kit from urbanjngl.com.
Film a video of your terrarium: building it, styling it, showing where it lives, or anything else creative. 15-30 seconds is enough.
Complete the entry form on the promotion page with your name, email address and order number, and upload your video.
Tick the box to accept these promotion terms.

Each order number can be used for one entry. If you have several orders, you can submit one entry per order.

4. Extra chance to win (optional)

Post your video on Instagram, Facebook or TikTok, tag @urbanjngl and keep your account public so we can see it. Social media posts are an extra way for us to find your video. You must still submit the entry form to be eligible.

5. Video requirements

Your video must:

be your own original work, filmed by you or with permission of everyone featured;
be clear, in focus and reasonably steady;
show the terrarium you bought from us;
not contain offensive, unlawful, discriminatory or misleading content, or third-party content you have no rights to (such as copyrighted music you are not licensed to use).

We may reject or remove any entry that does not meet these requirements.

6. Selection and prize

Every month, we choose one favourite video. The choice is made by our team based on creativity, the way the terrarium is shown, and overall impression. Chance plays no part in the selection.
The winner receives a refund of the purchase price of their terrarium kit, paid via the original payment method. Shipping costs, other products in the same order and any discount already applied are not refunded.
The prize cannot be exchanged for another prize or paid out in any other form.
Our decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into about the selection.

7. Notifying the winner

The winner will be contacted by email at the address in the entry form. If we receive no reply within 14 days, we may choose another winner. We may also announce the winner (first name only) on our website and social channels.

8. Your video and your rights

You keep ownership of your video. By submitting it, you give Trendhero B.V. a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, edit (e.g. crop or add subtitles) and publish the video on our website, social media, newsletters and advertising, for as long as the video remains available. You confirm that you hold all rights needed to grant this licence. You can ask us to stop using your video by emailing info@urbanjngl.com, and we will remove it from our channels within a reasonable time.

9. Privacy

We process your name, email address, order number and video only to run this promotion, contact the winner and, if you agree, to publish your video. Details on how we handle personal data, and your rights, are in our privacy policy. You can ask us to delete your entry at any time by emailing info@urbanjngl.com.

10. Changes and cancellation

We may change, suspend or end the promotion at any time, for example in cases of fraud, technical problems or circumstances beyond our control. We may disqualify anyone who breaks these terms or tries to manipulate the promotion.

11. Liability

We are not responsible for entries that are lost, late or incomplete, or for technical failures. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

12. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
