Questa pianta ama un terriccio umido ma di certo non troppo bagnato, altrimenti affoga. Non metterla al sole diretto, perché non le piace nemmeno quello.

Polyscias Balfouriana

Questa pianta è nota per le sue foglie verdi e rotonde con un bordo bianco. La Polyscias sembra un albero in miniatura e contribuisce così a quella bella atmosfera urban jungle. Ama un terreno umido e il sole diretto e non è tossica per gli animali domestici.

Philodendron Green Wonder

Questo Philodendron Green Wonder porta il cuore sulla foglia e reclama subito un posto di tutto rispetto nel tuo soggiorno, ufficio o negozio. Ha un fusto lungo e foglie grandi che si allargano molto. Preferisce la mezz'ombra e un terreno leggermente umido. Non dargli troppa acqua, altrimenti affoga. I gatti tendono presto a masticare le foglie giganti, ma è meglio di no: le foglie sono velenose se ingerite.

Monstera Delisciosa

La Monstera, o pianta del formaggio svizzero, è una pianta da appartamento che richiede poca manutenzione ed è amatissima per il suo look di tendenza. Questa pianta alla moda preferisce un posto luminoso e ama un terriccio umido. Inoltre è facilissima da propagare. La Monstera è un vero colpo d'occhio nel tuo arredamento e purifica anche l'aria, ma non fa molto bene agli eventuali animali di casa.

Palma Kentia

Immagina di trovarti nella giungla tropicale con la palma Kentia. Con le sue foglie grandi, larghe e di un verde fresco, la palma Kentia è la regina delle palme. È abituata a stare all'ombra, ma apprezza anche un posto più luminoso. La palma Kentia è quindi perfetta per un angolo più buio. Preferisce un terriccio umido che puoi inumidire due volte al giorno. Strelitzia Nicolai

Probabilmente conosci meglio questa pianta con il nome di uccello del paradiso bianco gigante. È una pianta da appartamento molto amata per le sue foglie belle e grandi. Le piace bere tanto e preferisce stare al sole diretto. I frutti della Strelitzia sono leggermente velenosi, ma la versione da appartamento di questa specie non fa frutti. Quindi, in pratica, i tuoi animali sono al sicuro, per fortuna!

Schefflera Luseana a cespuglio

La Schefflera Luseana a cespuglio, o albero ombrello, è una pianta con foglie piccole e scure. Non ama molta acqua e ne ha bisogno solo una volta a settimana. Preferibilmente la Schefflera Luseana sta a mezz'ombra. Purtroppo questa pianta è leggermente tossica per gli animali domestici.

Ficus Robusta

Questa bella pianta dalle foglie lucide verde scuro è più conosciuta come albero della gomma. Il Ficus Robusta ama un bel posto luminoso al sole. In estate il Ficus va annaffiato due volte a settimana, in inverno solo una. Non devi quindi curarlo in modo intensivo. Meglio però tenere lontani i tuoi animali, perché la pianta è velenosa se ingerita.

Dieffenbachia seguine 'Tropic Snow'

Che nome lungo e difficile per una pianta da appartamento. Per semplicità, in questa presentazione chiamiamolo Derek. Derek è un bel tipo. Le sue foglie sembrano opere d'arte, ma attenzione: le foglie di questa pianta sono velenose per gli amici a quattro zampe. E anche per le persone, ma immaginiamo che tu non abbia intenzione di mordicchiare le foglie di Derek, vero? La Dieffenbachia (meglio conosciuta come Derek) viene dalla foresta pluviale e quindi ama l'umidità. Metti Derek in un posto a mezz'ombra e sarà un tipo felice.

Codiaeum Petra

Questa pianta da appartamento è più conosciuta come Croton, ma per un momento la chiameremo Petra. Con le sue foglie dai colori splendidi potrebbe aver vinto un concorso di bellezza tra piante. Come una vera reginetta, Petra ha bisogno di tanto amore e attenzioni. Non le piace stare troppo bagnata, ma nemmeno troppo asciutta, e ama il sole, ma non nelle ore più calde. Dai a Petra l'amore che merita e lei ti ricompenserà.

Alocasia Wentii

L'Alocasia Wentii viene chiamata a volte anche orecchio di elefante rustico, perché la forma delle foglie lo ricorda. Le grandi foglie sono verdi, a forma di freccia, con il retro rosso scuro. Questa pianta preferisce un posto luminoso senza sole diretto sulle foglie. Inoltre le piace essere annaffiata una volta a settimana.

Alocasia Cucullata

Come il fratellino Wentii, anche la Cucullata ha foglie che ricordano l'orecchio di un elefante. Ti servono soffitti piuttosto alti, perché questa compagna arriva fino a 2 metri di altezza. Preferisce un posto luminoso e ha sete una volta a settimana.

Areca

Questa pianta da appartamento appartiene alla famiglia delle palme. Questa bella palma, chiamata anche palma da betel, ha foglie verde chiaro e può diventare bella grande. L'Areca preferisce non ricevere troppa acqua: basta un terreno leggermente umido. Un posto davanti a una finestra esposta a nord è l'ideale per questa pianta. Inoltre gatti e cani possono annusarla tranquillamente, perché non è tossica per gli amici a quattro zampe.

Aspidistra

In natura questa pianta cresce soprattutto come tappezzante, ma questa informazione non ti serve a nulla. Quello che forse ti interessa: questa pianta non ha quasi bisogno di attenzioni. Sole o buio? Vanno bene entrambi. Acqua, oppure niente acqua per molto tempo? Nessun problema.
