Always wanted to grow your own avocado tree? With this handy kit, it’s easier than ever! The AvoSeedo is a clever tool that makes it simple to germinate an avocado pit. The set includes everything you need to get started at home: a clear plant pot with saucer, a green AvoSeedo holder, and a cheerful paper flag to name your pit.

Place the pit in the holder, set it into the water-filled pot, and let nature take its course. Thanks to its floating design, your pit stays at the ideal height in the water. Once roots and foliage appear, fill the pot with soil, your pit will naturally grow into a proper plant.

How to grow your own avocado plant:

  1. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and save the flesh for a tasty guacamole. Who’s hungry?
  2. Rinse the pit thoroughly and remove any remaining fruit.
  3. Place the avocado pit with the flat side down into the AvoSeedo.
  4. Position the AvoSeedo in the supplied pot filled with water.
  5. Ensure the AvoSeedo floats perfectly level on the water.
  6. Write the date, and a fun nickname for your new plant addition, on the provided flag.
  7. Place the AvoSeedo in the brightest, warmest spot in your home, e.g., near a window.
  8. Change the water at least once every two weeks.
  9. Patiently wait for your avocado seedling to sprout.
